Principal investigator of one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), participant in four NSFC-funded projects, and participant in one major project on diabetic nephropathy funded by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission; 2. Discovered that the renal expression of bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP7) is significantly reduced in diabetic nephropathy and tubulointerstitial nephropathy, and that exogenous supplementation of BMP7 exerts a protective effect against structural and functional renal damage induced by diabetes and tubulointerstitial nephropathy; 3. Published multiple articles in core journals on the treatment of anemia and hyperphosphatemia in hemodialysis patients, as well as ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and introduced new interventional therapeutic techniques for secondary hyperparathyroidism; 4. Published multiple SCI-indexed and statistical-source journal articles on the clinical and pathological characteristics of membranous nephropathy and improvements in treatment strategies; 5. Published articles in core journals on incremental dialysis modalities in peritoneal dialysis patients.
