Graduated with a doctoral degree in Oncology from Sun Yat-sen University; served as the principal investigator for one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. As a (co-)first author, published papers in internationally renowned journals such as *Oncogene*.
