Second-level Professor, Distinguished Professor of the Pearl River Scholar Program, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Supervisor, Visiting Professor at the University of California. He worked at Johns Hopkins University in the United States for 15 years. He received the Young Investigator Award from the Respiration Section of the American Physiological Society and twice the Outstanding Scientist Award for Basic Research from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
