He has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one by the Nanfang Hospital Dean's Fund, participated in 8 national, provincial, and ministerial-level research projects, published over 20 academic papers (including 8 SCI papers), and contributed to the compilation of one book. Medical Career: Born in Dongguan, Guangdong, Dr. Li completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies at Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2008. In July 2008, he joined the Department of Trauma Orthopedics at Nanfang Hospital, where he gained a solid grasp of the fundamental theories and knowledge of orthopedics. He served as the chief resident of the department for one year and undertook a three-month advanced study at the Affiliated Hospital of the University of Siena in Italy.
