Currently serves as Honorary Director of the Institute of Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease, Chair of the Congenital Heart Disease Committee of the National Cardiovascular Disease Expert Committee, Leader of the Seventh and Eighth Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Groups of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Member of the Expert Group for the New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme (NRCMS) for Congenital Heart Disease under the Ministry of Health. Since 2010, has served as a member of the Management Committee of the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery, a member of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, and Associate Editor of the *World Journal for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery*. Has published over 40 SCI-indexed articles as corresponding author or first author, and has completed or led six major national research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 973 Program, and the Ministry of Health Industry Fund. Has been engaged in frontline clinical work in pediatric congenital heart disease and pediatric thoracic surgery for 40 years, performing over 5,000 surgeries for various congenital heart diseases and thoracic conditions, with an annual surgical volume exceeding 500 cases, of which over 80% are complex procedures. An authority in the fields of neonatal complex congenital heart surgery, functional single ventricle, cone reconstruction for Ebstein's anomaly, congenital pulmonary airway malformation, pediatric mediastinal tumors, and pectus excavatum. Has received awards including the Soong Ching Ling Pediatric Medicine Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class), the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class), the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award (Third Class), the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class), and the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Progress Award (Third Class).
