Graduated from Zhongshan Medical College with over 30 years of medical experience. From 1994 to 1996, conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Irvine, and was concurrently appointed as a Visiting Scientist at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University of California. Engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in respiratory medicine for more than 30 years. Mainly focused on clinical and research work in pleural diseases, pulmonary infectious diseases, COPD, asthma, and critical care medicine. Particularly specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and difficult cases. Currently serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Chinese Medical Association's Respiratory Disease Branch (Deputy Head of the Lung Cancer Study Group), Executive Council Member of the Guangdong Medical Association, Chair of the Guangdong Medical Association's Respiratory Disease Branch, Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Medical Association's Internal Medicine Branch, and Vice President of the Guangdong Hospital Association. He is a Fellow of the Chinese Medical Association (FCMA), a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He serves as an Editorial Board Member and Invited Expert Reviewer for multiple journals, including the *Chinese Journal of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases*, an International Advisor for the *International Pleural Newsletter* (USA), and the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese edition of *Seminars in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine* (SRCCM, USA).
