The Department of Medical Oncology is a department integrating medical treatment, education, and research. It is officially designated as the Clinical Education Base of the Pain Management College of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, the Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Demonstration Base for Refractory Pain of the China Cancer Hospital Alliance, and the Watson International Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment Center. The department has a well-structured talent echelon and complete hardware facilities. In collaboration with renowned international cancer centers and national key laboratories, it has established a precision molecular detection and targeted therapy platform, a comprehensive immunotherapy platform, a difficult case consultation platform, a multidisciplinary tumor diagnosis and treatment platform, a new drug research and translation platform, and a tumor minimally invasive treatment platform, all of which align with the latest international diagnostic and therapeutic concepts. The department has undertaken multiple national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects. Its members have published over a hundred monographs and papers in domestic and international professional journals, and have received nearly ten national and military science and technology progress awards and medical achievement awards.
